Rebecca
2003 Premium filly out of the Oldenburg mare Willa. This filly placed fourth for weanlings at the Beaujolais Breed Show in 2003 and
came back as a two year old to place second in fillies and also second to her sire Rodioso in the IBC out of over 20 entries. She won her first time out at Training Level in May of 2007 and earned Junior High Point of the WEC Spring Show
with a 69.9%! She is owned by Val Osterman of Woodinville, Washington.

Rochambeau
Rochambeau was foaled in 2002, one of the first Rodioso foals in the USA.
He is a registered Half-Arab out of a Polish mare.
He started his dressage career in 2006 at Training Level and is pictured here winning his first outing with a 67%
at the Pacific Coast Arabian Sporthorse Classic in California. His owners report he has a "great work ethic."

Redondo
Lovely well-proportioned Oldenburg colt out of the KWPN mare Felicia (Tudor). Redondo was foaled in 2006 and charms everyone with his wonderful personality.
Bred and owned by two sisters who have worked professionally in dressage for over 25 years he promises to be a keeper for their
show string. Bred by Michelle Blockley and trained by Stephanie Clarke of Stanwood, Washington.

Reno
Reno was foaled in mid April of 2006 and is a colt out of the Premium foal Weisswein
daughter Witty. He was born black with the identical hind leg markings of his sire
Rodioso but is graying out like his dam. He is developing into a tall, leggy horse
with lovely movement. Reno placed first in colts of 2006 with an 81% at the Beaujolais
Sporthorse Show when he was only two months old. Bred by Pamela Pentz, Reno is owned by
Valorie Osterman of Woodinville, Washington.

Rigel
Rigel was foaled in mid-March of 2006 and is a very perky colt that definitely
inherited the cute gene from his dam. His dam, Gilkeet, is an Oldenburg Main Mare Book
Thoroughbred that goes back to Nearco twice and Man ‘O War once. Of special note she was
24 years old when she foaled Rigel and he is the last in a long line of foals she has
produced for Derby Farms. Her offspring have gone on to excellent dressage careers and
breeding careers. Gilkeet is retired and living out her days at Derby Farms. Rigel is for sale and video clip of him can be seen on the sale page.

Ranger
Ranger was the first foal of 2006, a colt born in February out of the Oldenburg mare Wanda.
Ranger is very handsome, with size and refinement and lovely gaits. He has placed on the line
as a weanling with scores of 73%. He was awarded Premium status at his Oldenburg Verband
inspection in the fall of 2006. Ranger is lightly started on the ground and will excel in dressage. He is for sale and a video clip of him can be seen on the sale page.

Ruffiano
This elegant black colt of 2005 is out of the Oldenburg main mare book
Bavarian mare Lieselotte’ (Wiener Dom/Winderhall). He proved to be Rodioso’s
star foal for 2005. He was placed 9th by the USDF in Horse of the Year
Sporthorse Breeding for colts of 2005. In the All Breeds Division for
Oldenburg he came in 2nd. He placed 1st in the Region 8 Dressage Fall
Festival and was Reserve Champion in the New England Breeders Futurity out
of 25 horses. He was also awarded 1st for the Born in America Award at that
same show. He is owned by Erica Karl of New York.

Rocket
Foaled in 2005, Rocket was awarded Premium Status by the Oldenburg Verband. Blessed with exceptional movement and a charming personality, he was the characteristic of the cross between his dam Witty (Weisswein) and Rodioso. His full brother Reno and full sister Ryphon share his knack for charm. Video of this youngerster can be seen on the Rodioso DVD. He was bred by Derby Farms will be sorely missed. |

Rane
Rane is a 2005 filly that was awarded Premium status at her
Oldenburg inspection. Before that, her refined beauty placed her 2nd in
fillies of 2005 at the Beaujolais Sporthorse show at the age of four months.
She is out of the Oldenburg mare Wanda (Weisswein) whose dam goes back to
the great Nearco twice. She is owned by Katherine Friere of Kirkland, Washington.

Ricoma
This is a very handsome colt of 2005 out of the TB mare Kate Expectations. The dam's line is by
Virginia Rapids who goes back to Never Bend, Prince John, Sir Gaylord and Nearco. Ricoma was highly
praised at his Oldenburg inspection for his wonderful conformation and willing attentive attitude.
The owner reports he is very people oriented and eager to please. His trainability is a testament to the "R" line.

Riona
Premium
filly of 2003 out of Wawona (Weisswein/Diamant). At the age of two months
this filly won her IBC class against 14 entries at the Beaujolais Sporthorse
Show. At that same show she placed 2nd in weanling fillies. The following
year in 2004 at the same venue she was 2nd in yearling fillies. She is
currently being started under saddle and shows great promise as a dressage
horse. Lisa Hathaway of Seattle, Washington is her owner.

Rodenia
2003 filly out of the main marebookTB mare Philenia xx who is by the Irish TB stallion Lobsang xx. Pictured on the right is a lovely portrait of her with her dam at her 2003 GOV inspection. On the left we see her as a maturing young two-year-old filly. Her first in-hand outing she got a 78.6 from the judge with "harmonious build... good march and reach (walk)... good reach and suspension (trot)" as some of the well earned comments. Bred and owned by Elizabeth Rountree of New Jersey.
